This exciting role will be part of Haymarket’s growing Content Labs team. It involves assisting the marketing team with all aspects of marketing campaigns for bespoke events and a variety of digital products including webinars, expert reports, videos, surveys and online advertorials.

Key responsibilities/tasks:
• to assist with the planning and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns for our clients’ campaigns which run across a number of Haymarket Business Media brands including Campaign, People Management, Event, PRWeek, C&IT, Third Sector and Supply Management
• To write and proof effective marketing copy spanning channels such as email, social, display and native ads
• To manage and track email campaigns from start to finish
• To create and manage native advertising activity across Haymarket’s websites and bulletins
• To effectively use social media channels from LinkedIn through to Twitter and Facebook to grow and engage with our audience
• To create and monitor PPC ads across social platforms
• To make best use of a multi-sector customer marketing database
• To manage Content Labs database and work with the centralised data team to ensure data is loaded into Haymarket’s customer marketing database
• To conduct email and channel analysis to help inform and streamline the effectiveness of our campaigns and products
• To collate and send detailed reports to project managers for our clients
• To help create and maintain user friendly websites
• To contribute innovative ideas to improve and grow our portfolio

The ideal candidate will:
• Have some marketing experience in a related field preferred, though not essential
• Have excellent communication skills, both in writing and speech
• Be able to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure
• Be well organised and have acute attention to detail
• Be motivated and a real self-starter
• Use own initiative and be creative with the ability to think outside the box in terms of taking our products to our audiences
• Be excellent at meeting deadlines and targets
• Be ambitious and eager to develop their career in marketing
• Be excellent at dealing with people at all levels, both internally and externally
• Be entrepreneurial and commercially minded with an interest in growing revenues around online products
