FourFourTwo, the world’s biggest most respected football media brand, is looking for a videographer to strengthen its squad.
We’re looking for a talented candidate who can capture beautifully shot interviews, with crisp audio, map out short documentaries and shoot engaging footage about the latest training drills, gym workouts, nutritional advice, football gear and pro tips.
We like to think we understand football and football content better than any other media brand out there, which is why we collaborate with the best players and the biggest brands, so you’ll need to know your stuff.
The ideal candidate will be as comfortable brainstorming, storyboarding and directing as filming and editing, and proficient with a broad range of equipment and software.
Motion graphic design - both 2D and 3D animation - are central to this role. A high level of understanding and skill are a must-have.
They will also be able to balance their creativity and technical prowess with a realistic, cost-effective and time-efficient approach to briefs. They must also feel comfortable working with high-profile players and managers.
An ability to work under pressure, think on your feet and make the best use of limited time with star athletes is essential.
The videographer will work alongside the head of video and social media department tailor content for our core audiences, across FourFourTwo’s various digital channels, including YouTube, facebook, twitter and instagram.
They will be expected to manage the storage of our content and brief freelancer editors on our style guide and graphics packages.
Lastly, the videographer will keep up to speed with the latest video techniques, equipment and opportunities, so that they can strive to continually improve the quality of the department’s video output.

Desired technical proficiency
A strong knowledge of relevant filming, lighting and editing techniques, including:
- How to operate a variety of cameras, including the Sony A7S with a range of lenses
- How to operate different camera stabilising rigs, including the DJI Ronin kit
- How to operate a variety of light panels, including the set up of a three-point light system
The ideal candidate will be proficient in the following software:
- Adobe Premiere Pro CC
- Adobe Photoshop CC
- Adobe After Effects CC
- Adobe Lightroom
- Adobe Illustrator CC
- Adobe Media Encoder CC
- Stills photography a bonus
- The ability to design/animate motion graphics is essential
