Haymarket Network’s relationship with Castrol began in 2003 when we were asked to help raise awareness of Castrol’s motorsport sponsorships to internal marketing staff. This was achieved by creating a secure extranet and regular email updates. That collaboration has evolved over the past seven years, culminating in the current partnership which involves producing a variety of content across different platforms. Internal marketing staff are kept fully up to date with Castrol’s motorsport activities around the world through weekly html email updates, while optimised racing content is produced and uploaded onto Castrol’s global website, helping to engage readers and increase visibility through search.
Finally, the Castrol Racing eZine caters for both internal and external audiences. This digital magazine uses interactive content to tell the story of why Castrol uses racing as the ultimate proving ground for its products.
