Nicolas Bogs
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Nic Bogs joined Haymarket in 2000 as managing director of the German operation. The company has now 15 titles, more than 100 staff and a turnover of more than 15 million euros.

He holds a diploma from an American and a German high school. After graduating from the University of Hamburg (economics) he wrote his PhD thesis on Advertising Agencies in the Media Market. Before joining Haymarket, he spent more than 10 years in business media with major German media groups, starting as advertising sales manager. Nic also worked as a radio business journalist for more than five years.

Nic is a passionate skier, a long-distance runner and an active member of the Rotary Club Hamburg. Together with his wife and his daughter he lives in Hamburg, Germany.

Oliver Reichenburg
FINANCE DIRECTOR

Oliver Reichenberg joined Haymarket as a finance director in 2005. He built up and integrated financial and reporting systems. He is responsible for HR. Oliver accompanied the integration of new businesses to the German operations.

Oliver studied economics at the University of Wuppertal/Hagen, degree of business administration. He is a certified controller (Controller Akademie (CA), Gauting, Germany). He was a teacher for economics at a private business school. Consultant in a middle-sized company, successful implementation of a quality management system. Worked for an American company well established in worldwide CRM solution markets. Started as a financial analyst became finance manager for Continental Europe.

Membership of the Controller Akademie, Gauting Membership of the German PPA (Business administration).

Oliver enjoys biking, cars and literature.

Kevin Costello
DIRECTOR

Kevin Costello is chief executive of Haymarket Media Group.

After graduating in 1987, Kevin joined Reed Business Publishing as a sales executive. He moved to Bartlett Advertising in 1990, where he spent four years in a range of roles including media buying, planning and new business development.

He joined Haymarket in January 1994 as business development manager in its business division. After a period running the sales operation across a portfolio of weekly trade titles, he moved into Haymarket’s consumer division.

He then became managing director and chairman of Haymarket Consumer Media, with a portfolio of market-leading consumer brands in sectors as diverse as sport, classical music and technology.

Kevin has overseen the growth of Haymarket Network, which is now one of the top five customer publishing agencies in the UK.

In January 2010, Kevin was promoted to chief executive of Haymarket Media Group, responsible for the UK as well the Australian, German, Indian, Hong Kong and US divisions.

Additionally, he is chairman of Frontline, the UK’s market-leading sales and marketing magazine distribution company and a non-executive director of Wanderlust Ltd.

Kevin is married to Alison, has two children and is a self-proclaimed sports junkie. When not on the sidelines supporting his children he can be found at Old Trafford supporting his beloved Manchester United.

Jeremy Duckworth
DIRECTOR

Jeremy Duckworth joined Haymarket in 2005 as group finance director and successor to David Fraser, who retired after 37 years with the company.

After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse, Jeremy gained considerable experience of the media world in investment banking roles over 13 years with both BZW and UBS.

He joined Haymarket from the Williams F1 Racing Team, where he was responsible for improving the financial performance of the company as it faced the challenges of the F1 industry.

Jeremy is married and has three children. His interests include golf and sailing.

Brian Freeman
DIRECTOR

Brian Freeman, FCMA, joined Haymarket as a management accountant in 1989, having worked at KPMG after graduating from Exeter University.

He became head of management accounts for Haymarket Consumer Media, joining the boards of subsidiary groups in 1994 and became a director of Haymarket Consumer Media in 1995.

He joined the board of Haymarket Media Group in 2000.

He has played a key role in setting up Haymarket’s overseas operations, and now sits as a director on the boards of most of the company’s overseas subsidiaries.

Uwe Schütt
PUBLISHING DIRECTOR

Uwe Schütt joined Haymarket in 2005 in the course of the acquisition of Thalacker Medien. As Publishing Director he is responsible for all brands at Haymarket Germany.

Uwe (born in 1958) is a fully trained management assistant in publishing. Since 1976 he held various positions in advertising sales, sales and distribution, finally heading the marketing department at Thalacker Medien before joining the Haymarket group in 2005. At Haymarket he started as publisher for the eight brands in horticulture and floristry. Since April 2010 he is responsible for all Haymarket’s brands in Germany.

Uwe is married and lives with his wife and his two daughters near Braunschweig.

Sebastian Vesper
EDITORIAL DIRECTOR
 

Sebastian Vesper joined Haymarket in 1999. He is responsible for the editorial quality and journalistic development of the German brands and product as well as the internal and external communication policy of the local operation.

Sebastian (born in 1972) graduated in cultural studies (German M.A.) before working for PR agencies and the in-house PR team of Bertelsmann. He started his career with Haymarket as the editor of PR Report when the group established its German operation. Since then, Sebastian worked on various launch and re-launch projects, magazines, websites, and live events. He gave lectures at media at the Universities of Lueneburg and Ilmenau, Germany.

Sebastian lives in Hamburg, with a strong emotional link into Berlin. He enjoys canoeing (kayak) and urban architecture.
