Haymarket scoops four at the prestigious PPA Digital Awards 2017!

London, 11 October: Haymarket Media Group, the leading international specialist media and information group, last night scooped four awards at the prestigious PPA Digital Awards.


The Awards represent the premier industry celebration of digital talent in professional publishing. And the winners represent the individuals, brands, and publishing companies driving the industry's ongoing digital revolution.

In the hotly contested awards, Haymarket Business Media was named Digital Publisher of the Year (Business). The division has had a strong year driving its data-focused strategy to develop new paid content models across key B2B sectors. PPA Digital said they recognised “an outstanding business media publisher who is leading the charge in the digital arena”.

Haymarket Business Media’s flagship Marcomms brand Campaign also picked up two awards on the night: former Campaign Global Brand Director Adrian Barrick was named Digital Leader of the Year reflecting his role in driving the brand’s global strategy.

And Campaign itself was named PPA Digital’s first-ever Global Digital Brand of the Year, as the judges recognised “an outstanding global digital brand which is providing users, customers, and communities with an unbeatable range of digital content across multiple platforms and multiple territories”.

Haymarket Business Media MD Philip Swinden says: “This win recognises the tremendous work over the last year by everyone in the division to dramatically improve the quality of our digital audiences. We now operate with much larger numbers of logged-in, paid or registered users - and we’ve achieved that without any drops in overall traffic. And with more than half of HBM's overall monthly audience, Campaign has been instrumental in this success.

“I’m incredibly proud of the whole team - but I’m particularly delighted that Campaign has been specifically recognised. In the last 12 months the brand has recalibrated to a digital-first proposition which has positioned it as the pre-eminent voice for Marcomms professionals globally.”

Meanwhile Haymarket Consumer Media’s flagship technology lifestyle brand Stuff was also a winner: picking up Digital Commercial Partnership of the Year for its Insider Partnership with O2 and Oneplus.
