A hat-trick of football programmes
The UEFA Champions League Final on Saturday 19th May completed a memorable hat-trick of official event programmes for the finals of the most prestigious football tournaments in Europe; the FA Cup sponsored by Budweiser 2012 Final (5th May), the UEFA Europa League Final (9th May 2012) and the UEFA Champions League Final.
Network published the official programme for the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium, between Chelsea and Liverpool. The programme followed both clubs as they prepared for the big match, with club-focused features and statistics from the respective club’s FA Cup history.
Harnessing Haymarket’s global reach, Network also produced the UEFA Europa League Final programme for the game hosted at the Bucharest National Arena in Romania. Haymarket were able to produce and print the programmes within Romania, providing an effective logistical solution in support of one of Europe’s flagship competitions. The 84-page programme features exclusive interviews with both coaches and provides an in-depth guide to the competition and the city itself.
Similarly, Network produced and printed the programme for the UEFA Champions League Final in Munich, Germany. The 116-page official matchday programme is packed with insight into the season's most high-profile fixture, exclusive interviews as well as profiling the players who will perform.
All three commemorative programmes are sold at the grounds and through the Haymarket Media Group’s wider distribution channels. Haymarket also worked closely with the UEFA and The FA to maximise promotion of the programmes’ digital editions, via respective online and social media platforms.
