Stats Zone wins BSME award

Last night (12 November) saw the cream of the magazine world gather in London for the prestigious annual British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards to celebrate British magazine journalism's best and brightest.

Amongst those collecting trophies on the night was Haymarket Consumer Media’s FourFourTwo Stats Zone, which was honoured with ‘Innovation/Brand building initiative of the year’.

Editor of FourFourTwo David Hall said: ‘This is Stats Zone’s fifth award of 2012, which is a fantastic achievement. The award is a testament to the incredible continuing team effort both from the development team and the editorial team to create a compelling product that has got hundreds of thousands of football fans sharing high end, real time statistical analysis.’

This latest win for the app, which allows users to analyse every Premier League & Europa League game in amazing detail, follows the app’s triple win earlier this year at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards and being named ‘App of the Year’ by the PPA Digital Publishing Awards.
