MM&M magazine snags Pink Sheet senior editor

Anthony Vecchione, most recently senior editor at pharmaceuticals weekly the Pink Sheet, is the latest editorial appointment for Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) magazine.

Vecchione is now features editor at the New-York based Haymarket business title. Editor-in-chief James Chase said: “Tony is an experienced editor and his understanding of pharmaceutical business and clinical issues will give us a huge edge as we continue to develop our content and products.”

Vecchione will plan and execute MM&M’s features and special supplements, and his industry experience and contacts will boost its news desk.

At the Pink Sheet, Vecchione reported on regulatory, legislative and business news affecting the US pharmaceutical industry.

Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Drug Topics magazine where, as managing editor–projects, he oversaw the editorial direction of special editions and supplements, including Women’s Health, Diabetes and Medical Technology.
