MM&M boosts its editorial advisory board

Medical Marketing & Media
(MM&M) has beefed up pharmaceutical industry representation on its
editorial advisory board with the addition of five drug company
executives.
They are Joe Shields, product director for Enbrel at Wyeth; Mike
Pucci, vice-president for external advocacy at GlaxoSmithKline; Meryl
Weinreb, global brand manager in emerging neuroscience at AstraZeneca;
Mike Boken, product director for ADHD at Shire; and Jennifer Rinaldo,
product director at Forest Laboratories.
With the new recruits, the MM&M Editorial Board is 15 members strong, and editor-in-chief James Chase believes it now has the right balance to take MM&M’s coverage forward.
“Pharma marketing is a dynamic and complex industry, and two-thirds
of our readers are pharma company execs,” he said. “In order to keep
our finger on the pulse, it’s important that we have sufficient pharma
representation on our advisory board.”
The first meeting involving the new members took place in New York on October 21.
