Nursery World Show reinforces a bright outlook from Haymarket Exhibitions
The Nursery World Show is the second Haymarket Exhibition of the year to report a big increase on visitor numbers from 2009.
The Show recently reported attendance nearly double that of 2009, which follows a similar increase in visitors to Haymarket’s Autosport International in early January.
Gavin Brown, managing director of Haymarket Exhibitions, said: “The Nursery World Show was held for the second time at the Business Design Centre in Islington and was a great success.
“The attendance was nearly double last year’s. Both exhibitors and visitors were delighted and re-books were strong.
“The financial performance was excellent with a significant year on year increase. This year both Nursery World Show and Autosport International have demonstrated an upturn in consumer and trade confidence.”
The trade exhibition, which ran on January 22 and 23, was dedicated to providing practical help and information for the early years sector.
Following its launch in 2009, it has expanded to host more than 90 exhibitors and welcome more than 2800 visitors.
