Will Findlater takes editor’s chair at Stuff

Will Findlater, deputy editor of Stuff magazine, has been promoted to editor of the title – just six-and-a-bit years after joining Haymarket.

Will has made a meteoric rise through the company, after initially working in the stockroom for Sound & Vision and What HiFi? before joining Stuff magazine.

The current editor of Stuff magazine, Fraser Macdonald, becomes editor-in-chief, taking on responsibilities across all aspects of the brand.

Macdonald said: “It was clear to us early on in Will’s career that he had the credentials to go far in this magazine. His crispy writing style and keen eye for a story, along with his deep-seated love for all things tech, made him a perfect fit for Stuff.

“I’m really pleased for Will, and wish him all the best in taking the world’s best-selling gadget magazine to new heights.”

Martyn Jones, publishing director of Stuff, said: “Fraser and Will deserve a huge amount of credit and continue to set the standard in technology publishing. With new opportunities emerging the appointments will allow Stuff to take advantage of our market leading credentials.”
