Haymarket scoops two AOP Awards

Haymarket Media Group has won two prizes at the prestigious Association of Online Publishers Awards.

Haymarket Business Media (HBM) took home the award for Digital Publisher 2011 – Business, while Autosport.com won Product Team 2011.

Overall Haymarket had been short-listed in seven of the 20 award categories, which are seen as the most sought after awards for digital publishers.

HBM publishes digital products for its leading brands including Brand Republic, Campaign, Third Sector, GP and the ENDS Report. The AOP judging panel commented that the business was “doing great things with an effective, long-term engagement strategy”.

On Autosport.com’s award, judges said: “The team contributed excellent monetisation ideas, with a committed approach to design and audience engagement, producing phenomenal results. A great example of joined-up thinking.”

Kevin Costello, chief executive of Haymarket Media Group, said: “I’m delighted that the effort and creativity in both our business and consumer groups has been recognised by the AOP.

“Along with our short-listing in seven categories, the two awards reflect the strong growth we are enjoying as a result of our continued investment in digital platforms.”
