The SC Magazine Awards Program was established in 1997 and is growing with the IT security industry.

At the 2007 event, 230 companies from around the globe nominated more than 570 products, services or people. More than 500 industry professionals attended the ceremony.

Awards are presented in the Readers' Trust, Professional and Excellence categories, which together recognize a wide spectrum of security products, people and services.

Hundreds of readers vote for the Readers' Trust category every year, while the Professional and Excellence categories are judged by a panel of top CSOs and IT security luminaries.
