The magazine is the Tillington Group’s largest single piece of marketing, with up to four million copies mailed at the start of the gardening season to bring customers into their stores.
It features inspirational articles and practical advice as well as bespoke pages for each individual centre to drive sales of plants, garden care and lifestyle products.
Beautiful Gardens magazine is mailed to predominantly ABC1 women living within 15 miles of the centres. Research has shown that 69 per cent of recipients visit their centre to redeem featured vouchers – for the 2008 magazine, readers redeemed 220,000 coupons against products.
