WHAT HI-FI?, the UK’s leading technology buying guide, is looking for an experienced features editor and reviewer. Existing reviewing experience and extensive knowledge of consumer electronics is essential.
Your primary role will be to originate and commission all feature content for our website and monthly magazine, including consumer buying advice, technical ‘How To ’articles and guides to emerging new technologies.
You will also be a key member of the reviewing team, working closely with the test team and Technical Editor to review a broad range of electronics, from TVs and soundbars to specialist hi-fi and video products in our dedicated suite of listening rooms. This will require you to produce reviews to a consistently high standard and ensure they are technically accurate, as well as optimised for web and print.
Applicants will need to supply examples of product reviews they have previously written. The successful candidate must also be used to upload content through the CMS and have a clear understanding of SEO and web analytics.
As a senior member of the editorial team, you will also be expected to script and present videos, liaise closely with our social media team to ensure our content gets maximum coverage, and to contribute regularly to the whathifi.com Forums.
