Our purpose is to create trusted, premium specialist media brands which build powerful communities and drive valuable conversations. That has been our mission since we were founded in 1957.
Our values aren’t just words – they’re the way we do things at Haymarket.
Our success is fuelled by the dynamism, creativity and expertise of our people. But more than that – it’s crucial for us to behave with independence and integrity: towards each other, towards our audiences and towards our clients and partners.
In an age of fake news and alternative facts, our commitment to responsible journalism is more vital than ever.
Our brands are powered by journalists and content creators who live in their specialist sectors. Many are award-winners. Breaking the news that matters today, they lead the thinking that will define tomorrow.
Haymarket has been developing quality, trusted content since we were founded in 1957. Since our launch over 60 years ago, we have remained a private, family-owned business that is run by the Heseltine family.
As CEO of Haymarket Media Group, Kevin Costello has managed the company’s transition from a UK-based specialist publisher to an award-winning international specialist media & information business.
Kevin joined Haymarket as a consultant in 1994 and was named CEO in 2010. During this time Kevin has reshaped the company by diversifying its business models and developing the company’s profile internationally, whilst staying true to Haymarket’s values.
“We win because our people do. Everything is underpinned by our values, chief among which is integrity – without which we are nothing.”
Our international leadership is chaired by Rupert Heseltine – the son of our founder, Michael Heseltine – and our Group CEO is Kevin Costello. They have fostered a management team focused on driving a strategy of long term sustainable growth.
