Haymarket takes home four wins at AOP Awards 2022

Campaign and Haymarket Business Media each win twice, including the prestigious Grand Prix Award

Campaign has won two top awards, picking up best online B2B brand and B2B editorial team of the year at the Association of Online Publishers Digital Publishing Awards 2022.

Haymarket Business Media (HBM) won two other prizes, including the Grand Prix for best B2B digital publishing company at the ceremony on 15 June at Old Billingsgate in London.

Campaign won the Grand Prix award for best online B2B brand from a six-strong shortlist that included The Architects’ Journal, BioTechniques, Building, Computing and Health Service Journal.

The judges said: “Campaign’s fantastic commercial results coupled with evidence of great content throughout the year and innovative product development made this the jury’s winner.”

In addition, HBM’s recruitment sales team won sales team of the year and Campaign’s sales team was highly commended in the same category.

The judges said of the HBM recruitment sales team: “The jury were impressed by how the team’s determination to turn around a declining revenue sector paid dividends with happy clients and fantastic results.”

Campaign also won B2B editorial team of the year against the British Medical Journal and IT Pro.

“This was a very strongly contested category, making it an especially difficult one to decide,” the judges said. “The jury were impressed by the Campaign team’s pro-active approach to innovating new editorial products that are delivering sustainable growth for the brand – as well as delivering good old-fashioned industry scoops and demonstrating industry leadership with their campaigning journalism.”

HBM took the Grand Prix for best B2B digital publishing company for showing “consistent excellence across all previous categories” and “evidence of a strong strategic vision, innovation in approach to their digital publishing business across a portfolio of unique domains and audiences, and a clear achievement against objectives”.

Haymarket Automotive, which includes Autocar and What Car, was also shortlisted for the Grand Prix for best consumer digital publishing company.
