PRWeek Rings The Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell

The event marks the return of the PRWeek Awards as an in-person celebration.

PRWeek visited the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square on Tuesday, March 15 to coincide with the return of the “Oscars of the PR industry” as an in-person gala celebration.

PR professionals from big brands and corporations and the agencies that support them joined the PRWeek and Haymarket Media teams at Nasdaq to celebrate the industry and the return to live events.

Steve Barrett, editorial director of PRWeek, rang the Closing Bell to celebrate the occasion and mark the start of a return to the new normal.

PRWeek celebrated its high-profile annual awards virtually in 2020 and 2021, but is returning to Cipriani Wall Street on March 16 for its first gala celebration in three years.

The PRWeek Awards will be a landmark occasion for everyone in the PR and communications industry, which has stepped up and proved its value more than ever during the coronavirus pandemic across areas including healthcare comms, crisis support, purposeful business, CEO positioning, C-suite counsel, employee engagement and much more.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to celebrate those stellar achievements of the industry at the first in-person PRWeek Awards ceremony for three years,” Barrett said.
