Rheum Advisor on Air Scores Neal Awards 2022 Nomination

Rheum Advisor on Air, the official podcast of Rheumatology Advisor, is a 2022 Neal Awards finalist for Best Podcast!

The Neal Awards, known in the industry as the “Oscars of B2B publishing,” recognize the best of the best in business-to-business journalism. Rheum Advisor on Air is one of 236 finalists from a range of digital and traditional content disciplines; this year’s finalists are being honored for producing reliable data, content, and services during a period of global uncertainty.

“The team at Rheum Advisor on Air is absolutely thrilled to receive this prestigious nomination,” said Meghna Rao, host of the podcast and senior editor of Rheumatology Advisor. “We are humbled by this recognition that aligns with our goal of editorial excellence.” 

Meghna credits her team’s hard work and determination in driving the podcast’s success.  Working alongside Meghna are Kwamesha Joseph, assistant editor of Rheumatology Advisor; Stephan Cho, digital content editor; and Corinna Panlilio, VP of clinical strategy.

Rheum Advisor on Air was launched at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in May 2020. During the course of two years, the podcast generated revenue for the brand and received recognition among the rheumatology workforce and community, with about 25,000 page views, more than 11,000 unique downloads, and engagement on social media. 

Each of the podcast episodes has focused on a different aspect of clinical practice and research in rheumatology, including guideline updates, health care disparities, practice management issues, etc, with insights from experts in the field.

 Winners will be announced during an in-person ceremony to be held in New York City on April 26, 2022.
